Verification of This Company Profile

The gambling registers show the permissions of the operator and link its name with certain websites. In the brand table, we use active domain entries in the British gambling register and not any name found in an old casino review as the currently active operation. Alternative addresses for one brand are not considered as additional casinos.

The regulatory decisions give another perspective on the company: findings and actions that occurred during the specific investigation. Past findings are listed with their dates, while the licence details come from the current register. News releases are sources of commercial information and business titles, but not regulatory findings.

Casino Networks of Skill On Net Limited

The company is engaged in providing various kinds of gambling services. It operates a casino network that gathers different game suppliers, and its UK permits extend to the gambling software. According to the MGA record, some of the permitted providers include Evolution, Play'n GO, Greentube and Playtech, showing the difference between an operator of the casino and suppliers of individual games.

Besides, the company offers bingo. In its November 2025 press release stored in the EGO news archives, the extended partnership with Playtech was announced regarding PlayOJO and PlayUZU, in addition to launching of Zingo Bingo in the United Kingdom. Such partnership included connecting these products to the Playtech bingo network, which included common rooms, among other services.

According to the same archive, additional content growth took place in 2026. In particular, the June 29th announcement was regarding the expansion of ODDSworks games on the PlayOJO, SlotsMagic and SpinGenie sites in Ontario. It means that the products and markets listed above are just some of them; it does not imply that all SkillOnNet's websites offer the same gambling opportunities all over the world.

Entity and the Management

According to the British register, the legal entity is called Skill On Net Limited, and in MGA's authorization record, it is Skill On Net Ltd. The address stated by both parties is Limassol, Cyprus. According to the information provided in the record of the Swedish operator, Skill On Net Ltd is located at the Office 1/5297, Level G, Quantum House, 75 Abate Rigord Street, Ta' Xbiex XBX 1120, Malta. These are addresses provided according to the relevant records; however, the company using the same business name does not necessarily operate as one legal entity in all markets.

The affiliate marketing is documented separately. Thus, according to the terms and conditions of EGO, there are mentioned Royal EGO Marketing Ltd as well as EGO is the programme, which allows promoting participating brands. Therefore, contracting company of the affiliate programme cannot necessarily be identified as the gambling operator stated in customer documentation.

According to the announcements, the operational management is also indicated separately. Thus, according to July 2026 announcements, Jani Kontturi is named as the Head of Games. Besides, in November 2025's bingo announcement, Malcolm Farrimond is the Head of Bingo.

Licensing Information

According to the British Gambling Commission licence information, dated 11 October 2026, licence 039326-R-319358-063 with the account number 39326 has the following activities listed: Casino, gambling software, bingo and general betting on virtual events – Active. Virtual event licence date is 1 October 2026, which is not unrestricted sportsbook authorisation.

According to the MGA authorised person record, MGA/CRP/171/2009-04 is Licensed. It is B2C gaming service licence, where type 1 gaming services and casino are approved as activity type. Also, there is information about the approved game suppliers related to this authorisation.

These licences cover different activities. Gambling software licence refers to different activity in comparison with casino operating for clients, and supplier's authorisation cannot substitute for operator's license. Applicable market, applicable legal entity and website shall be considered jointly.

Brands and Operating Relations

Below 12 brands have active domains in the UKGC domain register, which was checked on 11 October 2026. Only one address per brand is used here to avoid double counting of alternative domains. The brands are listed below based on UK's regulatory links, not availability for playing in all countries.

In addition, the UKGC domain register labels separate websites (Genting Casino, Slingo), which are identified as white label. White label means operating relation, but does not prove the property rights for the brand and underlying business of SkillOnNet. Websites are not included in selected brands list above.

At the same time, there is information about inactive domains in the UKGC domain register. Inactive status alone does not indicate that the brand has switched to another operator. Confirmation of that fact will require identification of new operator.

Regulatory Actions

British Gambling Commission Settlement

On 23 May 2023, British Gambling Commission announced the settlement with Skill On Net Limited in the amount of £305,150 due to the discovery of social responsibility and anti-money laundering failings by Skill On Net. In the announcement it was noted that the funds will be directed to socially responsible purposes. It was a regulatory settlement, not the criminal case.

Swedish Bonus Rules and the Resulting Appeals

In the decision record of the Spelinspektionen dated 26 June 2019, there is a warning and financial penalty imposed. In the appeal proceeding, the violations related to the failure to observe restrictions on bonuses and lottery games not allowed under the license. The administrative court rejected the appeal in December 2020, and the decision was affirmed by the appeal court in January 2022.

Leave to appeal was denied by the Supreme Administrative Court on 6 July 2022, and thus the appellate decision stood. This information becomes significant because the announcement of the first decision alone will not tell the full story of the challenge that ensued.

Anti-Money Laundering Decisions in Denmark

Three orders and two reprimands to the company of Skill On Net Ltd have been made by the Danish Gambling Authority on 3 April 2024. These decisions related to the assessment of risks and procedures of observing the controls and internal documentation proving the control had been performed. The changes were requested within set deadlines.

According to the authority, these issues had been corrected previously and, therefore, no additional action was requested. This notice identifies the compliance failures and corrective actions to take place and does not involve monetary penalties.

Swedish Safer Gambling Information Failure

On 19 November 2025, the authority of Spelinspektionen has reprimanded the company over missing safer-gambling links on the Prime Casino site. Namely, the logos that should point customers to self-assessment, limits and exclusion features were missing from the site. According to the authority, these controls are to be present on the page top bar.

Play Ojo Gambling in Great Britain

On 4 May 2022, the ASA partly upheld complaints about advertising for the Hot or Cold feature. The ASA found that the advertisement implied that the feature could predict results, which could encourage irresponsible gambling. The claim of exploitation of cultural beliefs was rejected.

Another ASA ruling from 8 April 2026 was on Skill on Net Ltd doing business as Gecko Play. The ruling stated that an Instagram advertisement made light of repeated gambling behaviour as well as gambling after losing. The company confirmed it took measures like removing the advertisement and revising its internal guidance; however, ASA demanded not to show it in this form anymore.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is SkillOnNet the Same as PlayOJO?

No. Although PlayOJO is the gambling service brand, SkillOnNet is the name of the company and its network. It should be mentioned that PlayOJO is one of many SkillOnNet's brands in the British register of domains.

How Many Current Brands Are Verified?

According to the profile table, there are currently 12 brands which are represented by active UKGC domain entries. The above table provides a selection and not the assertion that SkillOnNet operates only 12 brands all over the world. Other types of relations including white labels are listed in separate part of the register.

Does a White-Label Relationship Imply Brand Ownership?

Not necessarily. While UKGC maintains its White Label registration within the licensee’s account, it is not the shareholder register. The gambling service owner and brand should not be considered interchangeably.

Have There Been Any Regulators' Decisions on SkillOnNet?

Yes. This is evidenced by British, Swedish, Danish AML and British advertising regulators' decisions discussed above. Each of them is different: a warning, advertising restriction and a monetary fine are distinct measures.

What Made ASA Oppose Hot or Cold Advertising?

It was concluded that the advertisements created a misleading perception of player's ability to control games of chance. Information provided by the advertisement about recent payouts did not allow concluding what payouts the game would make in the future. The disclaimers in the advertisement did not change the overall perception.
