Casino slot developer Hacksaw Gaming launched the newest dark-themed slot Death Becomes You with monsters, duels, and expanding reel features. As expected from the brand, the slot demonstrates high volatility and focuses on bonuses and mechanics.
According to the official page of Hacksaw Gaming, Death Becomes You was released on 25 June 2026. The slot has volatility 4/5, a maximum win of 15,000x, and uses a paylines layout. Several versions with various RTP are provided by the provider, the maximum version being 96.34%.
The main feature of the game is DuelReels. When VS symbols form a winning combination, they expand over the reel to create a Wild DuelReel, triggering a duel between two characters. The multiplier in the duel may vary between 2x and 100x and apply to connected winning combinations.
The second interesting mechanic of the slot is Duel with Death. This feature is triggered when low-paying symbols form the word DEATH on the reels. In this case, Death receives a DuelReel over the middle three reels, and the feature continues with three lives. When the player loses a duel, he loses one life. In case of a victory, Death’s multiplier will be used in the next duel.
There are also three bonus rounds in Death Becomes You. Three FS symbols trigger Meet Your Maker bonus and provide 10 free spins with increased chances of getting VS symbols and triggering Duel with Death. Four FS symbols activate the Drop Dead bonus game with three lives, and Duel with Death will be triggered if the player manages to defeat five DuelReel monsters.
The strongest bonus is Epic Death. This hidden bonus is triggered with five FS symbols, and the bonus round starts with five lives. There is a Duel with Death feature on the first spin, and wins are paid after each duel.
Players from New Zealand, who monitor new slot releases, might consider Death Becomes You as yet another mobile-friendly slot of an international casino provider. Those, who want some general info about such casino products, should check our pokies guide.
