ELK Studios launched Pirots 5, a new addition to its series of colorful bird-pirates. Now, the characters get inside an ancient Egyptian temple, where they are looking for their enemy, Captain Blackfeather, and the lost city of gold.
According to the official website of the game, Pirots 5 was released on 23 July 2026. It has a 6×6 game field and the CollectR™ mechanic. Other features include expanding gamefield, symbols transformation, wilds, bonus games, and maximum winnings of 10,000x of the bet.
Captain Blackfeather plays the main role in the gameplay, as he can transform up to four birds into ghosts, turning their normal symbols into unique Blackfeather gems. In addition, the game offers Secret Door feature that rotates the grid and rearranges the birds and symbols on it. Special floor cross-over tiles allow the birds to travel to locations that have already been gathered.
Another interesting feature of the game is Catacombs, where the birds face mummies after collecting symbols that appear above the catacomb corners. The successful fight with the mummies gives players feature symbols.
The Cursed Temple coin game becomes active when all symbols on the gamefield are collected during the Secret Door feature. It offers an additional bonus game related to the theme of the ancient Egyptian temple.
The activation of the Bonus Game requires gathering three bonus symbols by the birds. When one of them is Super Bonus symbol, players start playing the stronger Super Bonus Game. The grid size, gems’ upgrades, and the state of the collecting meter stay active during the bonus game. Pirots 5 also features five X-iter™ modes, from 3x bet with increased chance of starting the bonus to 250x bet that allows directly going to the Super Bonus Game.
