Formal Australian warnings associated it with Neon 54, Rabona, 5 Gringos, Alf Casino and Buran Casino. Older documents from a Slovak gambling regulator also associated Araxio with Tranello Limited in relation to Wazamba, Librabet and Casinia domains.

Curaçao courts ordered the bankruptcy of Araxio on 18 April 2023. That decision was upheld by the Curaçao appeal court on 23 May 2023, and Araxio’s further appeal was rejected by the Dutch Supreme Court on 1 March 2024. Verification of This Company Profile

The legal history of the company is proven by the decision of the Curaçao appeal court on 23 May 2023 and the decision of the Dutch Supreme Court of 1 March 2024. Araxio is identified in formal warnings issued by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA). Historical lists compiled by Slovakia’s gambling regulator include the company along with Tranello Limited.

The documents answer other questions. Court rulings pertain to the Araxio company and bankruptcy. ACMA warnings document the results of investigation of gambling services in Australia. The Slovak list contains the names and domains used in that regulator's case. Each document in itself cannot prove that Araxio currently controls all of the brands it appeared alongside previously.

Important is the issue of dates. ACMA started its investigation of Neon 54, Rabona, 5 Gringos and Alf Casino in December 2022, prior to the bankruptcy of Araxio company, but its warning was issued in May 2023. Buran Casino investigation started in June 2023 and resulted in a warning in December. The date of issuing the warning should not be taken as the date when the casino ownership changed.

What Araxio Development N.V. Does

Araxio Development N.V. is described as the company that operated online casinos in the form of a sublicence holder under the old Curaçao gambling license regime according to the Curaçao appeal judgment. The court ruling was brought up after the decisions in Austria and Germany ordered to repay the lost money by the players of the online casinos. The Curaçao court considered the resulted claims when evaluating the bankruptcy of the company and non-payment of debts.

According to the ruling, at the hearing in May 2023 Araxio Development N.V. did not have any assets and stopped operations. Also, Araxio's shareholder refused to pay money to meet those claims. This information was obtained during the process of bankruptcy of the company. It should be evaluated together with other warnings issued by the regulator later.

Older records of regulatory body contain a larger list of casinos compared to the two ACMA warnings. In Slovakia's lists the names of Araxio and Tranello Limited are found related to Wazamba and Librabet domains. Later lists include the names of Casinia and Buran domains. One of the domain names found in the record is the evidence of this particular website and date. Multiple domain names for Casinia or Buran should not be counted as multiple casino brands.

Araxio Development N.V. Licence Information

According to the appeal decision of the Curaçao court, Araxio was a sublicensee. This is how it was positioned in the previous Curaçao gambling regulation system. It is not evidence of a current direct licence issued to Araxio under the new CGA system.

The CGA online-gaming license register updated on 21 September 2026 does not contain Araxio Development N.V. This statement refers to the mentioned version of the register. Historical casino footer, sublicense reference or the review referring to some older license number should not be considered as the proof of a current CGA license for Araxio.

As to whether the casino brand mentioned above belongs to another operator or licensee currently is another matter requiring verification through a current legal disclosure of the website.

Regulatory Decisions About Araxio Development N.V.

The ACMA warning dated 9 May 2023 concerns Neon 54, Rabona, 5 Gringos and Alf Casino. In the warning, ACMA concluded that Araxio provides the prohibited interactive gambling services with links to the customers from Australia. Also, the warning covers unlicensed regulated interactive gambling services associated with the Rabona betting service. The document refers to Subsection 15(2A) and 15AA(3) of Australia's Interactive Gambling Act 2001.

The ACMA warning of 20 December 2023 relates to Buran Casino. In the investigation Araxio is listed as a provider of that service and a finding is recorded under subsection 15(2A). This is a separate warning from the May document. Both warnings do not relate to an ACMA fine, criminal conviction or cancellation of a Curaçao licence.

Slovak blocked sites relate to access to certain gambling websites from Slovakia without the needed local licence. They are not Curaçao licensing decisions. Curaçao bankruptcy is a separate case involving creditors. So, ACMA warnings, Slovak website records and Curaçao court judgments refer to different events.

The warning documents ACMA findings in its investigation. It does not mention reversing Araxio’s bankruptcy nor does it name the operator of Buran Casino.
