Vinyl Casino may not be one of the newest online casinos in NZ, having opened its virtual doors back in 2022, but it’s a brand that, in my opinion, hasn’t gotten the recognition it deserves.

In fact, as you’ll see from this Vinyl Casino review, I feel this is one of the better sites available to players in NZ right now, given its absolutely insane range of games – more than 13,100 in total! This week, I was tasked with reviewing Vinyl Casino, and on this page, you can see exactly what I think about it, and learn what to expect when playing there for yourself.

My Playing Experience at Vinyl Casino NZ

Timing: 3.5 hours
Registration: Quick and straightforward – took just a couple of minutes to sign up.
KYC: Identity verification required for all players (ID and address proof needed before cashouts).
Support: Email, Live chat
Playing time: 2.5 hours
Deposit and withdrawal: I tested deposits using USDT. I deposited NZ$50 into my account, and claimed the welcome bonus. Unfortunately, I didn’t win, so I was unable to make a withdrawal.

When I first started exploring Vinyl Casino, what stood out wasn’t the games but the overall atmosphere. I really like how the site has been designed to look and feel like an old Hippie-inspired playground, and you’ll even see the iconic VW Camper on the homescreen! Overall, I feel the casino looks polished, smart, and it’s also pretty user friendly and easy to navigate, too. I like how easy it is to navigate through the casino, too. The main tabs – Casino, Live Casino, and Sports – sit across the top, but most of the real navigation happens through the slide-out menu on the left, which is where you’ll find the more specific filters and categories.

As I always do when reviewing online casinos, I started by creating an account and made a small test deposit using USDT. The funds were credited to my account balance instantly, and I was able to claim the casino welcome bonus without any issues.

As it’s getting close to Christmas, I thought I’d check out some of the new Xmas-themed pokies this year, and I had a play on Pragmatic Play’s Gates of Olympus X-Mas 1000, Jingle Coins: Hold & Win 3×3, and Wild Santa 2. Unfortunately, as seems to be the case with me recently, I wasn’t able to hit a win, but I got some good play-time from my deposit, and all of the games loaded quickly and didn’t have any issues.

Now, at one point, I had a question about the welcome bonus’ wagering requirements, so I scrolled down to the bottom of the screen and opened the live chat window. I needed to enter my name, email address, and my question, and I was then connected to an operator in, I’d say, about 30 seconds.

I was pleased to see the site is available in tons of different languages, and many region-specific payment methods are available, too. For a Kiwi like me, this means I can make deposits and withdrawals using methods like MiFINITY, Neteller, Skrill, Jeton, and, of course, cryptocurrencies.

Registration Steps

Registering at Vinyl Casino is very simple and took me, honestly, under 2 minutes. Once you reach Vinyl Casino’s site, simply click the “Register” button in the top right-hand corner of the screen – the big bright green button. You’ll then be prompted to select which welcome bonus you want to claim, or choose “I do not want a welcome bonus” if you don’t want one.

On the next screen you’ll be prompted to enter your email address and password and agree to the site’s terms and conditions. The final page asks for some personal information, and once you confirm your email address, you’re good to go!

Bonuses at Vinyl Casino Online Casino NZ

Vinyl Casino offers a pretty impressive selection of bonuses and features. While I was writing this review, I looked both at the main NZ welcome bonus, and ongoing promotions. Below, you can see my findings:

Welcome Bonus

All new players at Vinyl Casino can claim a 100% matched deposit bonus up to NZ$1,000 + 200 free spins + 1 Bonus Crab. The minimum deposit required to claim this welcome bonus is just NZ$40 – pretty reasonable – and the wagering requirements are 35x for the main bonus, and 40x for the free spins.

Of course, standard bonus terms and conditions apply. The free spins are credited at a rate of 20-per-day to your account, deposits made using Skrill and Neteller don’t qualify, and the maximum bet you can place while playing with bonus funds is NZ$10. You must also complete the wagering requirements within 10 days of first receiving the bonus.

Weekend Reload Bonus Up To NZ$1,400 + 50 free spins

Each week at Vinyl Casino you can claim a reload bonus every weekend, and you get a 50% match up to NZ$1,400 + 50 free spins, provided you deposit a minimum of NZ$100.

The wagering requirements are the same as the main welcome bonus (35x on the bonus, and 40x on the free spins), and there’s no maximum cashout limit, which is what I always like to see!

Vinyl Casino VIP Program

Vinyl Casino offers a VIP program with 5 levels, named, aptly, Level 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. All players are essentially part of the VIP program, and you progress through levels by playing and accumulating loyalty points/coins. At Level 1 and 2, the benefits are pretty underwhelming: you have access to all the standard on-site promotions and of course live chat support.

At Level 3, things start to get better, and higher withdrawal limits apply. You get a base cashback percentage back on losses, and personalised offers may be awarded from time to time. Given that I only played at the casino for a few hours, I, of course, didn’t get a chance to level-up, but it looks semi-decent from what I can see.

Casino Games You Can Play at Vinyl Casino NZ

Vinyl Casino offers a superb selection of casino games, and these come from over 100 game studios from around the world.

You can enjoy titles from: Pragmatic, PlayNGo, Penguin King, Novomatic, Popiplay, Playson, Evolution, Hacksaw Gaming, 3 Oaks Gaming, Pragmatic Live, Playtech, VoltEnt, Amusnet, EGT Digital, Nolimit city, Gamomat, Spinomenal, Microgaming, Betsoft, Merkur, Onlyplay, Blueprint, Relax Gaming, Yggdrasil, ELA Games, Fazi, OnAir, Netent, GameBeat, Fugaso, Big Time Gaming, Thunderkick, Endorphina, Stakelogic, Quickspin, Felix Gaming, Booming Games, Amatic, Bombay Live, Ruby Play, Swintt, Spribe, Oryx, Iron Dog, InOut, CT Interactive, Kalamba, SlotMill, G.Games, 7777 Gaming, Red Tiger, Zillion, BF Games, Evoplay, Red Rake, Skywind, Apollo Games, Amigo Gaming, 1x2gaming, OneTouch, Kajot, NetGaming, Tom Horn, Platipus, Ezugi, Caleta, Habanero, Shady Lady, Gaming Corps, Mascot, Solidicon, Spinmatic, PariPlay, Smartsoft, Claw, Rogue, Bally Wulff, PlayPearls, Apparat, TurboGames, Revolver, Salsa Technology, Vibra Gaming, BetGamesTV, Zitro, Givme, FBM, Golden hero group, Kiron, Arcadem, Candlebets, Ortiz, MEGA, PatePlay, Tequity, Iconic 21, AvatarUX, Reevo, Tada Gaming, Aviator, Mancala, Playnetic, Gamzix, Winfinity, Game Time Tec, Rakerocket, VivoGaming, Playhub, Expanse Studios, Galaxsys, Imagine Live, Digitain Virtual Sports, SA Gaming, 100HP, and Hölle Games.

Slots

Check out Vinyl Casino’s home page and you’ll quickly see the site focuses primarily on its pokies. I found thousands of video slots here, including a massive 1,705 in the “new” section alone!

You’ll find everything from brand new releases like Roman Fortune, Mighty Wild Gorilla, and Badge of Ra: Hold and Win, to older classics like Christmas Big Bass Bonanza, Book of Ra, Rise of Olympus, and Sugar Rush 1000.

Live Games

If you’re looking to enjoy live dealer games, Vinyl Casino has a pretty impressive offering. The majority of the games are powered by Evolution (previously Evolution Gaming) and Pragmatic Play, but you’ll find a few smaller providers, too, like ViVoGaming.

You can enjoy everything from classics like roulette, blackjack, and baccarat, to game shows like Crazy Time, Money Time, and Ice Fishing!

Jackpots

Vinyl Casino has a dedicated tab for jackpot pokies, and you can access this from the main navigation menu on the left-hand side of the screen. Here, you’ll find a huge selection of jackpot titles to enjoy, including New Jackpots, Lucky Jackpots, Jackpot Play, Daily Jackpots, Drops & Wins, and more.

The most popular progressive jackpot games that I saw while writing this casino review included Diamond Link: Mighty Sevens, Hot Reels Supercharged, Crown Strike: Hold & Win, 36 Coins, and Titan’s Rising: Hold & Hit.

Payment Methods at Vinyl Casino New Zealand

Whether you like to make deposits and withdrawals using your Credit and Debit Cards, or prefer to use EWallets like Skrill and Neteller, Vinyl Casino offers a superb selection to choose from. Below, you can see which payment methods the online casino accepts, and what the minimum deposit and maximum withdrawal limits are, along with estimated time-frames.

Dogecoin 0 NZ$20 NZ$10,000 0-24 Hours
Cardano 0 NZ$20 NZ$10,120 0-24 Hours

Vinyl Casino enforces withdrawal limits quite religiously, and if you’re an eagle-eyed reader, you’ll notice that these are actually the exact same limits used by Millioner Casino.

The amount of money you can withdraw daily or monthly varies depending on your VIP level. Level 1 players can withdraw NZ$1,000 per day, or NZ$13,000 per month, Level 2 players can withdrawal NZ$1,000 per day, or NZ$18,000 per month, Level 3 players can withdraw NZ$1,500 per day and NZ$22,000 per month, Level 4 players can withdraw NZ$2,000 per day, and NZ$30,000 per month, and Level 5 players can withdraw NZ$3,000 per day, and NZ$35,000 per month.

Customer Service at Vinyl Casino Online Casino in New Zealand

Vinyl Casino offers customer support in two ways: live chat and email. The customer support email address is: [email protected]. Now, when I wrote this casino review, I didn’t test out the email, as I’m always impatient!

I did, however, check out the live chat support system. You can initiate a conversation by scrolling to the bottom of the page and clicking the “Live Chat” icon. You’ll then be prompted to enter your name, email address, and question, and will be connected with an operator in a couple of minutes.

I found the customer support agent I spoke with to be friendly and fairly helpful. Be aware, however, that if your questions are slightly more complex, or require the agent to “go off script”, you may need to wait for a more experienced team member to get back to you, through email.

Security & Fairness

Whenever I review an online casino, I always check a number of security and fairness metrics – factors that are vital when deciding whether or not a casino is legit, or not. Vinyl Casino is no exception, and you can see my findings, below:

License

Now, Vinyl Casino does have a gambling license. The site is licensed and regulated by the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros. Granted, Anjouan is still a relatively new regulator (created, primarily, to pick-up the “casino refugees” from Curacao), but they appear to be doing a good job, so far, and are operating like a legitimate regulator.

Company’s Background

Vinyl Casino was launched in 2022. Unfortunately, they are not transparent with ownership information, and we were unable to find details of who owns the casino from their website.

Security Measures

Vinyl Casino states in its terms and conditions that “we may request in order to manage your account, verify your identity, or the source of the funds deposited to your account, certified ID, proof of residence, proof of ownership and transaction histories of the payment methods used.

In practice, it’s unclear how often the casino actually enforces Know Your Customer (KYC) checks, however. I wasn’t asked to upload copies of any documents, but I imagine that if you request a withdrawal, you will need to.

I always recommend verifying your online gambling accounts as soon as you join a casino, regardless of the site, as this minimises the chances of withdrawal delays or issues later down the line.

How Do Players Rate Vinyl Casino?

Vinyl Casino gets pretty mixed reviews, especially from the main online gambling review websites. On Trustpilot, for example, it receives just 2.0/5, while on CasinoGuru and AskGamblers, it receives 7.7 and 5.7/10 respectively.

Now, granted, the site’s low withdrawal limits are an area for concern – and we’d definitely like to see this addressed, as it’s simply not good enough in 2025, in my opinion. Still, I have no concerns about the site not paying – I just wish they’d allow you to withdraw larger amounts of money every day/month.

Is Vinyl Casino Legit?

After a fairly comprehensive review, including my first-hand testing and looking at all aspects of the casino, I can confidently say that Vinyl Casino is a legit and entertaining choice for New Zealand players. I like the fact that it brings a fresh “retro flair” to the online casino world, while backing this up with a solid range of games, bonuses and promotions, and service.

I like how us Kiwis can play in NZD, and the fact that even the welcome bonus is available in a tailored New Zealand format is an added bonus for me. Sure, I didn’t manage to hit a win while playing here, but that’s nothing to do with the casino (and everything to do with my poor choice of games!)

So, if you’re looking for a new online casino in 2025 that offers tons of games, fast cashouts, and everything you’d expect from a modern gambling site, Vinyl Casino is definitely worth checking out!
