How much I deposited and what bonus I got
Since everything about this site is in EUR, I opted to go for that currency. I’ve decided to deposit 50 EUR, which was US$54 at time of writing so that’s how much USDT Tether it took. There were no fees associated with my deposit and all went smoothly.
Regarding the bonus, it was a bit confusing. I first got a popup inviting me to claim the bonus, I clicked it and was taken to the Deposit page. I made my deposit after that, but never got the cash bonus.

I wasn’t so lucky with Book of Dead, in my 35 free spins I got two Scatters three times but didn’t trigger the bonus round so my winnings were humble at €1.40.
Yet when I went back to my account I saw I didn’t get any cash bonus. All I had was my initial deposit and the free spins winnings. When I contacted the customer support, they said I had to claim my bonus during deposit – whatever that means.

The games I played and tested
I went to play some new games, I tried out John Hunter and the Book of Tut, didn’t have any luck there. I also tried Fire in the Hole because I like NoLimit City pokies in general and I haven’t played this one yet. But I checked – the RTP is 94.11% and it should be 96.06%. Vegadream had this one set to medium payout. Yeah nah.
This prompted me to go check out Big Bass Splash, a game that I just played, and I was unpleasantly surprised that the RTP is the lowest of the three available settings – 96.71%, 95.67% and 94.60%. It was that last one. It seems Vegadream doesn’t like their slots to be at 95% or above!

Midas Golden Touch was at the correct value of 96.10% as it’s not a configurable game, so I played that one for a while. The game looks really bad on portrait phone so I didn’t last too long. Plus there’s nothing going on in that game unless you trigger the bonus round, which I didn’t.
I had to go play some blackjack to relax. I wanted to play Ezugi but the table limits are incredibly high, from 20 EUR and above, and only Unlimited Blackjack had a limit of 1 EUR. I checked the table rules (which you should always do!) and found out that the table has a favourable Double Down After Split (DDAS) rule which I know how to exploit. Won five hands in a row, then left, it was fun. It always is when you win!
The large orange Chat button kept getting in the way of Stand button. Vegadream should really know better than to cover game assets with their own Chat button. No, I don’t want to chat while playing a game.
The KYC and the Withdrawal
I got sent an email that I need to pass the KYC before I can withdraw, so I went ahead and submitted a photo of the front and back of my drivers licence. I wasn’t comfortable with giving my ID card. It went quickly, I also took a picture of my face. It’s good to start this process on your phone, because then you can take pictures easily. On a desktop computer it would be a hassle.
The letter from the bank I submitted as proof of address wasn’t accepted, so I submitted a phone bill in PDF format, and it got accepted within two hours. Reasonable.
When I requested a withdrawal, it first went into Pending Withdrawals state. By the way, I chose to withdraw ADA, because I know it run on any other network than Cardano, whereas with other options it wasn’t blatantly clear to me which crypto network the transfer will use as they use abbreviations. I didn’t want to make a mistake.
And then, my withdrawal got stuck. Vegadream implements a mandatory 48-hour pending period after you submit your KYC documents and the withdrawals are halted during this time even though you’re verified. Two days, man. This is completely uncalled for, unnecessary, and, frankly, it’s just annoying. What are you doing with my money for two days? Should I apply an interest rate?
It got worse. When the first 48h period passed, I requested an ADA withdrawal. Another 48h period. After a day and a half I got an email telling me I used a wrong address (I didn’t). Then I requested a BNB withdrawal. A new 48h pending period. After a day I got an email telling me I didn’t play through my deposit. So I played through it, requested another withdrawal (another 48h pending period). A day passed, nothing happened.
As a DashTickets rule – that I just invented – if we don’t get paid within a week of requesting a withdrawal, we finish the article and say we didn’t get paid. So – I didn’t get paid at Vegadream.

It’s complicated. This is excellent, at least I think so, as most other similar casinos have a Curacao licence and zero protection and zero dispute resolution. Vegadream is taking disputes seriously, so it seems. I haven’t had one so I can’t say for sure, but the very fact that they bothered to provide this information and a framework for dispute resolution is a sign of trust in my book. Customer Support
I contacted the customer support two times, and neither time waited for more than a minute. The support agents always took the time to study my request and then came back with a knowledgeable answer. I actually made a mistake when entering my signup email and never realized it, Rikku in customer support took care of it within a few minutes. Kudos.
However, be advised that live chat isn’t available 24/7. There’s also support via email, they don’t reply very fast.
How other players rate Vegadream
Not very well. My mates all say that Gammix Limited casinos are among the worst in the industry and that they have been like that for many years. This reputation spills over to Vegadream. I have no reason to not trust the almost universally poor opinion of Gammix.

Is Vegadream legit or a scam?
I couldn’t possibly claim this casino is legit without compromising my integrity as a journalist and as a human being. I didn’t get the bonus, and my money got stuck and I couldn’t withdraw it. I can’t shake the feeling that I got off easy because I deposited just a little. I saw too many complaints that look legit to me and that mention large amounts of cash.
