Medium Rare N.V.

The CGA register and domain certificate link Medium Rare N.V., company number 145353, with its gambling licence issued in Curaçao. Stake legal documents provide information about the operator of the contract and companies processing payments. Regional licensing disclosures reveal where the same consumer brand is used by another legal entity.

Spanish record refers to an administrative sanction, American court papers to civil proceedings. An Australian freedom-of-information document confirms release of compliance-related documents. These documents confirm different events; not all of them are penalties against the company.

Medium Rare operates Stake.com which provides casino games and sports bets with cryptocurrencies being one of the payment methods. Stake’s ninth anniversary article which was published on 7 August 2026 indicates that Stake platform was launched in 2017. This is the date of the brand history and not a precise incorporation date obtained from the commercial register.

The casino guide provides information about the following casino games categories: slots, table games, live-dealer games and Stake Originals. The games catalogue contains the games provided by the studios and the original ones provided by the platform. Casino and sportsbook belong to the Stake.com platform and individual games, software suppliers and sporting sponsorships do not constitute separate casino brands in the operator's count.

Anti-Money Laundering policy of the platform includes risk-based customer checks, identity and location verification, wallet screening and transaction monitoring as well as enhanced checks (for example, source of funds information) when risk indicators are activated. This is the description of the procedures used by the operator and not an independent assessment of the effectiveness of those procedures. The policy provides that Medium Rare was established in 2017 and does not provide any precise incorporation date.

On 18 December 2025, BetMakers announced a three-year agreement with Stake including an option to extend it for two more years. The proposed racing service included pricing, trading, racing content, streaming and access to tote pools via RaceOdds+ and Global Tote Hub. According to the announcement, it was supposed to be launched in the second half of FY26. This information refers to the supplier agreement and not to the launch of all planned products.

The terms of Stake’s Services indicate that the owner and operator of Stake.com is Medium Rare N.V. which enters into the agreement with the player. The disclosed head office address is Seru Loraweg 17 B, Curaçao. The company number is also shown in the website's legal footer and CGA records.

The Terms of Services distinguish gambling operators from the payment processing companies. The terms provide that Medium Rare Limited, registration HE 410775, and MRS Tech Ltd, registration HE 477481, are wholly-owned subsidiaries which process some payments. Presence of a payment agent in the transaction does not necessarily mean the change of gambling operator on Stake.com.

Stake is one of Easygo’s products along with such others as Stake Engine, KICK and Easygo Games on Easygo’s corporate website. This creates a commercial link described by Easygo, though it is not an official record of the Medium Rare’s directors or shareholders in the company register. At the same time it does not turn all Easygo products into gambling brands operating under Medium Rare’s licence. Easygo mentions its website statistics and affiliations as a marketing and recruitment material.

According to the CGA Certificate of Operation for Stake.com the company registered under the name of Medium Rare N.V., registration number 145353, operates under licence OGL/2024/1451/0918. The certificate states that the licence was issued on 9 June 2025 and had Active status at the moment of check on 2 October 2026.

CGA licence register entry 193 of 21 September 2026 identifies the same company and licence with code B2C. The entry indicates that the date of issuing is 9 December 2025, the date of expiry is 9 June 2026, and the status is Assessment in progress.

The entries have the same information about the identity of the company, though they differ with dates and statuses. The passed expiry field by itself does not imply revocation or expiry of the licence, especially in view of Active status indicated in the certificate. Neither does it indicate Indefinite. CGA warns that the overview does not guarantee the current validity of the licences.

There is only one brand confirmed for Medium Rare in this profile. Stake’s licensing page identifies the company responsible for particular regional services. The difference relates to the licensed operator, not to any logos and websites.

Notice published by the Gambling Commission on 12 February 2025 indicated TGP Europe Limited as the operator of Stake.uk.com website, indicating registrations ceasing and the shutting down process completing by 11 March 2025. This was the UK white label operation, and not the British license of Medium Rare.

Primedice is mentioned in opinion published in Freeman v. Stake.com on 26 June 2023. It provides the information about allegations about the transfers between Medium Rare and Slicemedia B.V. This does not prove the existence of Primedice as an operating website of Medium Rare. The stake casino guide includes also the game called Primedice, which means only the game title but no other additional operator brand.

These data do not confirm the accurate number of the migrated brands from Medium Rare operation. Regional variations and allegations about the transfers in the past should not be used as confirmed facts regarding the number of migrations from Medium Rare.

Sanction decision ES/2022/010 of Spain on 9 May 2022 imposes the €4 million fine and two-year disqualification of Medium Rare for providing gambling services without the necessary Spanish authorisation. Access to Stake.com, cryptocurrency-funded deposits, as well as playing in casino and sports betting from Spain is mentioned. The decision also requires termination of the illegal activity. It is an administrative decision of Spain, not the global cancellation of the Medium Rare's license issued by Curaçao.

In Australia, disclosure log 137 of ACMA of 10 May 2024 refers to the compliance related documents about Stake.com, Medium Rare and EasyGo Solutions Pty Ltd. It says that 30 documents were released partially, some parts were redacted. The information contained in the disclosure log itself is not the warning, penalty decision or any finding of unlawful activity.

The case Freeman v. Stake.com was dismissed on 26 June 2023 by New York federal court without prejudice due to lack of subject-matter jurisdiction. That does not determine the underlying facts of the ownership allegations. The other order of 7 November 2023 denied the defendants' motion for sanctions against the plaintiff. This procedural decisions should not be presented as the fine issued by regulator to Medium Rare.

On 4 September 2025, the Los Angeles City Attorney announced a civil lawsuit regarding Stake.us. The lawsuit identified Medium Rare as one of the defendants in case 25STCV25304 for alleged violations of the California’s Unfair Competition Law and False Advertising Law. The requested relief includes a stop to the alleged conduct, monetary recovery and civil penalties. This is the record of the allegation and the relief requested at filing and does not represent any final judgment of liability or determination of Medium Rare as Stake.us contracting operator.
