Shaun Philp

Shaun Philp is Chief People and Culture Officer at SkyCity Entertainment Group. He joined the company in August 2023. He leads the development and delivery of people and culture strategy across the SkyCity Group.

Philp is a senior human resources executive. His expertise covers leadership and culture transformation, innovation and business execution strategies. He has worked in the telecommunications, financial services and infrastructure sectors.

Before SkyCity, he held senior leadership roles in Australia and New Zealand. These included Chief People Officer at Chorus New Zealand Limited and Executive General Manager Human Resources at AMP New Zealand. The company text gives no dates for either role.

Philp holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland. He has also completed executive management programmes at Harvard Business School and London Business School.
