Donna Cooper

Donna Cooper is a director of SkyCity Entertainment Group. She was appointed to the board in September 2023 and lives in New Zealand. She chairs the People and Culture Committee and the Transformation Sub-Committee, and sits on the Risk and Compliance Committee and the Governance and Nominations Committee.

Cooper has more than 25 years' experience in financial services. Her most recent executive post was Chief Executive Officer of TSB Bank Limited. Before that she was Chief Executive Officer of The Warehouse Financial Services Group, and Managing Director and General Manager New Zealand of Baycorp (NZ) Limited. Earlier in her career she spent 14 years with American Express International, holding several senior executive roles in the United Kingdom, New Zealand, India and Australia.

Her other activities include a directorship at BSP Financial Group Limited, the role of incoming Chair of the Young Presidents Organisation (YPO) NZ, and the position of Principal Consultant at Green Sheep Consultancy. She is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors, the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Global Women.

Cooper holds a Master of Arts in International Business from the Rennes School of Business in France and a Bachelor of Business from the Auckland University of Technology. She also holds a Global Competent Boards Designation (GCB.D) in Sustainability and ESG.
