Licence Scope

This licence allows for remote games of chance to be offered to the public in Curaçao. As stated in the National Ordinance on Games of Chance (LOK). For an online gaming licence that has an indefinite term they must meet the following conditions. The domains and sub-domains they own or control will be approved.

You need to get approval before making any changes to your licence. Whether that be adding/removing domains or directors/beneficial owners. The company must follow the law of any jurisdiction they offer their gambling in.

Player Accounts and Funds

Players funds must be held in an account dedicated to players funds. This includes deposits/winnings and any amount owed to the player. All games offered must be certified by a lab approved by the regulator.

Your terms of service should state how a player can withdraw money from their account. Account restrictions/deposit limits and how to self exclude or make a complaint. All of these are requirements when holding an indefinite term licence.

Roobets terms state that certain countries are restricted from playing and creating an account. Which include but are not limited to Australia, USA, UK, Netherlands, Malta and Curaçao. Players must be 18 years old or higher depending on local law. They can ask for documents that verify your identity and location. Deposits/withdrawals may be withheld until you have provided this information.

Complaints and Disputes

Operators must allow their players to contact them for customer service. They also need to allow players to make a complaint through there process. If the player feels their complaint has not been resolved they can take it to an alternative dispute resolution. The company must cover the costs of the ADR process.

The operators terms of service should inform players of the different stages of making a complaint and ADR. The CGA use information regarding companies that act against their license or have committed misconduct. To supervise the industry. If you have a dispute over a gambling transaction you must resolve this with the company first and use the dispute process if needed.
