Given the success with the first edition of the Merit Awards, the Association is happy to announce that the scholarship is renewed for another year. Candidates from the previous edition are not admitted to give opportunities to more students.
Undergraduate Merit Awards A.Y. 2025-26
The DashTickets merit awards are a competitive awards to partially or fully cover the educational expenses for an undergraduate student. The scholarship is available for all Spanish students who meet the eligibility criteria.
In today’s interconnected world, entertainment plays a crucial role in education. Whether through films, games, live performances, or digital media, the blend of entertainment and education – “Edutainment” – offers unique opportunities for learning and personal growth.
DashTickets, with a history dedicated to entertainment and tickets (Twitter, Facebook), is excited to announce merit awards to support undergraduate students across Spain who are passionate about the power of edutainment.
Who can apply?
We invite undergraduate students across Spain and high school students with an acceptance letter to an Spanish university to participate. Regardless of your field of study, nationality, or academic year, if you’re passionate about the intersection of entertainment and education, we want to hear from you!
What we offer
The most deserving participant will receive a substantial €3000 scholarship to support their studies. The scholarship is intended to support the winner’s educational expenses, such as tuition fees, course materials, or living expenses, if the winner is studying away from home.
How to participate
To apply, submit your application along with a motivational letter and a short essay. The essay should explore the theme:
“Reimagining Classrooms: How Can Edutainment Shape the Future of Education in a Post-Digital World?”
Your application must include:
- A copy of a document proving your current enrollment or acceptance letter to a university in Spain.
- Your short essay (1000-2000 words).
- A motivational letter explaining why you are interested in this scholarship and how you believe edutainment can transform education.

Selection Process – A panel of experts in education and entertainment will review all submissions. The winner will be selected based on the creativity, relevance, and impact of their essay, as well as their motivational letter.

What is a Merit Award?
Merit Awards provide recipients with valuable financial support, ensuring students can enjoy the benefits of a top-quality academic experience regardless of their financial situation. Merit Awards will be made available to Undergraduate applicants for the 2025-2026 academic year based on their application (merit-based).
International students applying for admission during the Early, Winter or Spring Sessions will be taken into consideration for merit-based financial aid.
